Observation Paradox

The paradox of
attention to minute details
While overlooking many surroundings
is exactly how this writer lives.
The detailed descriptions,
The marvelous imagery,
but still oblivious to many things.
Sometimes so obvious,
they disappear from existence
Other times, the keen eyes pick out
what doesn’t seem to be there.
The paradox of this living is
defying of reason after all.
